About

Buddy Costa (aka DJ Costa) has become a household name not only in the New England nightlife scene, but across the United States through his beloved DJ sets and collaborations with world-renowned artists.

A native of Boston, MA, Costa got his start in the industry at a young age at Boston’s #1 Morning Show Matty in the Morning on Kiss 108, learning the ins and outs of the industry. From there, he quickly went on to take the industry by storm, spinning at some of the country’s hottest clubs like E11even, Hakkasan, and Light as well as celebrated events like the iHeart Radio Festival, MTV Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and CBS Fashion Week. Gaining immense popularity, he went on to open for top artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, J Lo, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and many more.

Determined to keep the momentum going, Costa joined nightlife leader and preeminent hospitality group Big Night Entertainment Group in 2006 as a Resident DJ at Shrine Nightclub at Foxwoods Resort Casino where he helped the venue secure a place in the Top 100 Nightclubs of the World. Costa’s career only continued to sky rocket with introduction of new shows and nightclubs including Dance Club of the Year winner, The Grand (Boston), which made its debut in 2019. Since it’s conception, Costa has brought in/opened for world-renowned artists at The Grand such as Drake, Travis Scott, The Chainsmokers, Shaq, Tiësto and the list goes on.

With no sign of slowing down, Costa is currently the resident DJ at The Grand (Boston),  Mémoire at Encore Boston Harbor, and Shrine (Foxwoods).
